This Privacy Policy explains how Shenzhen Caoben Jingmu Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in the Friend Location Sharing mobile application (the "Application"). The Application is designed for consensual location sharing between friends and family. It must not be used for covert tracking or surveillance.

Location
When you grant permission, the Application may receive approximate and precise location, coordinates, accuracy, timestamp, movement status, and related location signals. Location is used for authorized sharing, location updates, history, geofencing, and arrival or departure notifications.
Foreground location is used while the Application is in use. Background location is used only for an enabled feature that requires updates while the Application is closed or inactive. Before requesting background access, we show an in-app disclosure describing the data, purpose, timing, and recipients, and request your acknowledgment.
Connection and authorization information
The Application does not offer user account creation and does not require registration, login credentials, or an account profile. We process information manually entered by users, invitation codes, connection identifiers, authorization records, consent status, and sharing settings only to establish and manage authorized connections. These identifiers and records are not user accounts. The Application does not request Contacts permission and does not access, collect, upload, or synchronize your device contacts or address book.
Device, usage, and diagnostics
Depending on enabled features and integrated services, we may process device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, device model, operating-system and application version, language, network information, feature events, crash reports, diagnostics, and performance information. These data help us operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Application and prevent abuse.
Support information
We process information you choose to include in support requests, feedback, surveys, or other communications.
We use information to provide the requested service, maintain authorized connections, deliver alerts, secure the Application, respond to support requests, analyze reliability, prevent fraud, and comply with law. Where required, processing is based on your consent, performance of the requested service, legitimate interests, or a legal obligation. You may withdraw permission through the Application or device settings; a feature may stop working when its required permission is withdrawn.
Location is displayed only to users connected through an informed and active authorization. You can pause sharing, remove a connection, delete available history, or disable a location feature. Removing a connection cannot erase information another authorized user already received or stored outside our control.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose limited information to authorized recipients, hosting and cloud providers, mapping and notification providers, analytics and diagnostics providers, advertising providers, support providers, authorities where legally required, and a successor in a merger or asset transfer.
Service providers must follow our instructions, protect the information, and avoid unauthorized use. The Application may use Google Analytics for Firebase for usage, crash, diagnostic, and performance analysis and Google AdMob for advertising. These services may process device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, usage events, and diagnostics. We do not provide precise or approximate location to these services for targeted advertising.

We retain live location data for no more than 7 days and location history for no more than 30 days, unless a shorter period is selected or deletion is requested. Connection identifiers, invitation codes, authorization records, consent status, and sharing settings are retained while the relevant connection remains active and are deleted or anonymized within 30 days after the connection is removed or a verified deletion request is completed, unless a longer period is required by law. Operational, crash, and diagnostic logs are retained for no more than 90 days. Support and feedback communications are retained for no more than six months after resolution. Deleted data may remain in protected backups for a limited period before being overwritten.
The Application does not provide user accounts, so account deletion is not applicable. You can use the Application controls to stop sharing, remove connections, delete available location history, and revoke permissions. You may also request access, correction, deletion, or other applicable rights by emailing [email protected] with the subject "Privacy Request". We may verify that the request relates to you or your authorized connection. If account functionality is introduced in the future, we will provide the required in-app and web-based account deletion methods before that functionality is made available. Limited information may remain where required by law or needed for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal claims.
We use reasonable safeguards such as encrypted transmission, access controls, restricted access, and monitoring. We may process information in other countries through our service providers and use legally recognized transfer safeguards where required. No electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure.
The Application is not directed to children under 16. Users under 16 may not use the Application. If we learn that information from a child under 16 was collected without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
We may update this Policy when our practices, the Application, or applicable law changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required.
