Friend Location Sharing User Agreement

This User Agreement (the "Agreement") governs your use of Friend Location Sharing (the "Application") provided by Shenzhen Caoben Jingmu Technology Co., Ltd. By installing, accessing, or using the Application, you agree to this Agreement. Do not use the Application if you do not accept it.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter this Agreement. If local law requires parental authorization, obtain it before using the Application.

2. What the Application Does

The Application lets friends and family establish authorized connections and share or view location information. Connections may use manually entered details, invitation codes, connection identifiers, and consent records. The Application does not read your address book unless it separately requests Contacts permission and you grant it.

3. Consent Is Required

You may view another person's location only after that person knows about and actively authorizes the connection and sharing. You must not use the Application to secretly locate, stalk, harass, threaten, monitor, or surveil anyone, or to bypass another person's privacy settings. Stop sharing by pausing the feature, removing the connection, or withdrawing location permission.

4. Permissions and Background Location

Foreground location supports features used while the Application is open. Background location may be requested only for an enabled feature that needs updates while the Application is closed or inactive. We will show a prominent disclosure before requesting background access. You may deny or withdraw permissions in device settings, although related features may then be unavailable.

5. Accuracy and Emergencies

Location can be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable because of GPS, Wi-Fi, cellular coverage, sensors, battery, buildings, terrain, device settings, or network conditions. The Application is not an emergency dispatch, law-enforcement, medical-monitoring, or life-saving service. Contact local emergency services for emergencies and do not rely on the Application as the sole safety measure.

6. Your Responsibilities

Use the Application only on devices and accounts you are authorized to use. Keep your device and credentials secure, provide information lawfully, and obtain any consent required before sharing another person's information. Report suspected unauthorized access to [email protected].

7. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• use the Application for non-consensual tracking, harassment, abuse, or threats;
• access another person's device, account, location, or connection without authorization;
• impersonate a person or misrepresent authority;
• use the Application for fraud or unlawful activity;
• upload malware, harmful code, spam, or unlawful material;
• interfere with, probe, scan, or bypass Application security;
• reverse engineer except where law expressly permits; or
• scrape, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Application without written permission.

We may restrict or terminate access when use violates this Agreement or creates a legal, safety, or security risk.

8. Privacy

Our collection and handling of personal information are described in the Friend Location Sharing Privacy Policy:

9. Third-Party Services

The Application may rely on mapping, hosting, notification, analytics, diagnostics, advertising, network, device-platform, and app-store services. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for independent third-party availability or conduct.

10. Availability, Changes, and Termination

We may maintain, change, suspend, or discontinue features for technical, security, legal, product, or business reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. You may stop using the Application at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, unlawful use, or safety or security risk.

11. Disclaimer and Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Application is provided "as is" and "as available" without a promise that it will meet every requirement or that location information will always be accurate or available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses arising from use of the Application. Nothing here limits liability that applicable law does not permit us to limit or removes mandatory consumer rights.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

This Agreement is governed by the laws applicable to Shenzhen Caoben Jingmu Technology Co., Ltd., without limiting mandatory consumer-protection rights in your place of residence. Before formal proceedings, the parties will try in good faith to resolve a dispute through written notice and reasonable negotiation.
